How much trouble to install/adapter needed????? i would like to return my rifle to AS ISSUED if i am not satisfied with the mods.
anyone gone this route?????? worth the cost / trouble???
 
If you go this route, it cannot be undone ( to as issued condition ). Someone just did this mod recently. Shouldn't be hard to find.
 
Receiver gets milled, bolt gets milled, in my case the bolt hold open tab gets milled and the bottom opening in stock gets enlarged.

Some have managed and some have not, but I can put the stock internal mag back in and revert it to semi "stock" configuration.
