OK for all you people who want to know who was selling the LaRue knockoffs here you go:

I would suggest you do not buy from him and if you have purchased anything from him, you should verify the authenticity of your purchase.
I purchased a LaRue 9.0 rail which turned out to be a fake and I have been in comms with others on the board who have also done the same. This seller was also selling 7" handguards that may have been fake as well.
The seller is NOT directly connected to CGN and is NOT a CGN dealer. If a CGN dealer is listing products, they are the genuine items. As GT has stated, ALL dealers are responsible to accurately identify the products they sell.
It is unclear at this time if the seller knew he was selling fakes. His emails indicate that he was unaware. I must admit, at first glance, the replica is quite convincing.
I apologize to any dealers who may have had negative publicity due to the fact that I did not initially name the seller. The previous thread was locked because of this.
If you have purchased from this individual, contact me and I will fill you in on the progress of recovering my money.
