Anyone ever compare the airsoft version to the originals? (Airsoft version identicial in looks and you get 60 pieces for $10, also very hard to get, always sold out LOL...)

This really annoys me in regards to Airsoft, I hate there after market parts being sold as real, this will cause an accident in real firearms one day, and it probably already has.

Everything about airsoft is fake, from the guns they shoot to all the conterfeit crap they put on those things. Then some of these guys get into the real deal and want to pull parts off their "toys" and put them on a real gun.![]()
A plastic grip is a plastic grip.
It's funny because airsofter put "real steel" parts like Eotech and aimpoint on their gun.
+1
What Larue is charging for these simple little plastic clips is insane..... airsoft plastic copies makes a lot more sense (for this type of accessory that is).

larue clips and 2 handstops - $55 and fat chance getting them
clips and 2 handstops - $18 shipped e-bay. I love hong kong![]()
Oh God
Guys these are heat tested and made to meet certain standards, Airsoft crap is made by zero standards except for the wannabe AS guys need to look cool and think they are SF. Have fun when your China crap melts to your barrel.

If your hand rail get hot enough to melt those index clip, you might have something more to worry about than just cheap airsoft partsGuys these are heat tested and made to meet certain standards,

If you are running your AR like how many of you guys like to talk about then it will become a problem. Keep in mind some of this stuff has ended up on some of our troops weapons thinking it was legitimate Magpul or whatever, because it was sold as such, and then these parts failed. How would you like a fake RAS melting on your barrel under normal circumstances in a gun fight. I see your point nbean clearly but i think some of you guys are being very unsafe and just plain stupid!
As for the index clips in airsoft, i have seen guys use them saying the same BS, and it doesn't take much wear and tear or heat to warm them up and for them to fall off, especially well running & gunning.
Please explain how a melted index clip presents a safety issue? If you adhere to the fundamental four and control your muzzle and keep your finger off the trigger there is zero chance for disaster.
