So yesterday while spending the weekend at my buddies, we did some changes on one his rifles.

Took a Larue rail off, and added a much longer Troy rail. It was the first time playing with a Larue rail and....................

Holy clusterf*ck!!

At the back of the Larue rail is a cutout, that seems to only fits Larue low profile gas blocks.

As well there are multiple parts to allow for the attachment of the rail. I've never seen so many parts just to attach a rail.

Anyway, it required removing the gas block with the rail still around the barrel, but not attached to the upper, then sliding everything off together.

But we got it done and got out shooting.

LOL I knew a comment on the sandals would be coming :D

No offense, honestly, but I have a hard time buying tactical firearm related products from a man in sandals.

Which is a shame, because I've dropped quite a bit of money at your place.

I'm not saying you need to wear all-out cop boots, but at least change the sandals into a decent running shoe or something. :pirate:

LOL :D

Actually this was one of the few times I wore sandals to the range.

Usually wear my 5.11 Tac lites or Rail Rider pants and my OTB Odins.

I spent the weekend in Pet. and after trying not to forget all the stuff for everyone else, I end up forgetting some of my own gear. I also packed first thing in the morning which is bad for me.

See below ;)
