Just bought Larue stuff from GlobalTactical in the US. Got a 30mm QD scope mount. I couldnt find a source for Larue up here.

yeah. You can get pretty much anything from the US, as long as its not certain parts. Its like when I shop at Magpul direct I could get lots of stuff, but not their stocks. Some stuff they will ship no problem. I ask for USPS for shipment.

Correct me (with evidence) if I'm wrong but I've always been told that rings/rails (and pretty much anything else) need export permits.

used to be the case. but Commerce dropped the permit requirement for scope parts & rings etc this spring. it depends on how tactical it is. and also the firm needs an export license even if a permit from the buyer is not required....

Well they shipped it no problem. I contacted them prior to ordering to confirm it was a non issue, they told me that this part the larue 150 wasnt on the ban list so it was no problem. GOt it via USPS
