I see there is lots o choices out there from low end to high end.I have been using the old style bore sighter with the arbor for the bore and the qrid which mounts to it.works great for the normal rifle and hunting scope.I have done dozens of scopes for friends etc and it gets them on the target and usually sighted in with in 5 shots. However I have a M1A and a couple of norinco M14s
and I find this set up dosen't work very well,or not at all.I was wondering what would be the best lazer unit to use on these rifles, and any others with say 6x24x50mm scopes.or any of the higher mounted scopes.Any one have experience with this?what would you suggest?what where your results?
What is best? The ones that chamber or the ones that go in the end of the bore.any suggestions would be great Thanks

I prefer the ones that chamber. I bought a cheap one made by ncstar and it actually worked really good for sighting in my M14 and was only $10.

Get a cheap one, you can get individual ones that chamber for 15-22 bucks on eBay. You just need them to help you get on paper. Then you make the fine adjustments from there with your scope and loads
