I am thinking of buying a laser attachment (purely for eye candy on my sr-22).

I was looking at this one:

Anyone have any suggestions on which laser to get? I have ZERO experience using laser's on firearms so any tips or info is much appreciated. I don't want to spend a ton of money on a laser, I just want something that will look tacticool on my sr-22 haha. I was also considering a laser/light combo. I'm just in the browsing stage.

For reference, here is a pic of my sr-22 currently (waiting on a bushnell trs-25, pws t3 mag release and a marauder kit fake silencer):

Ignore the foot! haha

If it's just for eye candy, I would probably go for an AN/PEQ-16A knock off made for airsoft ... it would probably last longer than any NC Star product :D

And I think that it would look better ;)

I use that ncstar one on my GSG once in awhile. Quite a good little laser actually.

I had a NCS green laser once, I accidentally dropped while taking if off my air pistol .. the laser now emits a nice 1" dot at 10ft that looks like something you would see in a kaleidoscope :D

hmmm not really the look im goin for. I want something that will streamline with the barrel, I don't want anything bulky looking

I used to have one of these ... not cheaply made like NCS nor is it an airsoft knock off.

It's made by INsight and is about the same size as the NCstar one pictured above

Comes with a light and laser that is adjustable for windage and elevation iirc.

Little on the expensive side. They look to be around $200-$250 range. I'm hoping to keep it around the $50-75 range lol. Looks nice though!

While the nc star may be considered "cheap" I think I will still buy one. The price is right and I am only putting it on a .22 that wont be taking any real abuse. It should hold up as long as I dont drop it lol.

Anyone know if you can put a pressure switch on the compact version?
