laser ranger with vector capability?

You know, in the old days, people used a needle, an average size tree leaf (maple leaf will do).
You lay the leaf on the ground, pour some water on the leaf & put the needle on the water. It will point true North.

Just sayin....

The PLRF25C can reach out confidently past 4km and uses a digital magnetic compass that allows you to not only range the distance between targets and yourself, but between different objects in the field.

More than just a rangefinder, the PLRF25C measures and displays the polar vector from the observers position to the target and calculates and shows the horizontal and vertical distance.
