So i use my sks for 3 gun matches i've got a scope on it that works well for long ranges but i was considering getting a red dot sight to mount on top of the scope for use in close quarters. then i started toying with teh idea of a laser sight. can anyone reccomend a laser that would be nice and visable in bright daylight that would be suitable for this use? thanks for any input you have.

the one's i've been looking at are 650nm red dot for about 20 bucks on ebay.... think it's worth giving one a shot? i mean 20 bucks is pretty cheap.. i know you'll all say you get what u pay for and i know that already i don't need teh lecture. just asking for advice from people who use them.

U realy want to start fire's? Get green because red is not visible during day light hours do to our red sun. Secondly anything over 200mn will start fire's if it is pointed at something for to long. Hence why in the states they dod't allow anything over 20mn to be sold without a permit.

i have NEVER heard that before. I'm not calling you a liar but can you state your source? I'm curious. when it comes to laser sights is a higher nm (200 ect) better/more powerful than a lower nm (20-30 etc) I've tried googling all this but i can't seem to find answers. again i've never used laser sights just iron and scopes so i really have no clue on them.
