Hi. I'm looking for a Laserlyte and/or Viridian dealer in Canada. I'm looking for a laser rig for my HK P2000. I believe the Laserlyte v2 (FSR-00V2-140) will fit, as will the Viridian X5 universal kit.

The Laserlyte looks nice and small. Very light and relatively cheap. Its a red laser however, and I've been told it may not show well at the range. The Viridian is green and has better range and visibility in the day -but it probably twice as expensive.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Thanks in advance.

A quick update this this thread: Viridian is going to be shipping an ultra-compact version of its X5 green laser sight this summer. No dates have been announced but initial reviews have been good. It comes in a laser, or laser/light configuration. Its small and will fit all rail systems Its called the C5. Not sure there will be availability in Canada but, unless they are restricted from export in the US, folks will probably bring them up over the border.

We are officially distributing Viridian Green Laser products in Canada. We have just received our first shipments of the C5 and C5L compact light/laser combo's last week...

Cheers,

Gary

Great to hear! I picked up a C5L when they first started shipping and it's a great piece of hardware. Extremely bright. Easy to see in the day and the controls are well thought out. Anyone who's looking for a laser sight won't be disappointed.

Can you say what you're asking for them?

The C5L Light/Laser Combo lists for $339 and the C5 Laser only is $269...Ill put pricing for the holster packs up when they land...coming soon.

Haven't checked in on this thread for a while but I notice Wanstalls has the Viridian TacLoc hoster's up online for $279. Which seems a little odd considering the C5 is $269. How does a molded plastic holster sell for more than a micro-laser? This isn't Wanstall's of course. It simply means Viridian is wholesaling them at a crazy price.

I'd be interested to hear if the pricing has been a deterrent to sales and if Viridian plans a price reduction.

Thats a C5 with the Tac-loc holster for $279....it's a promo that they have going right now...

I think with regards to pricing and compared to other handgun/light manufacturers, that Viridian has their pricing wired pretty tight, especially for what you get in terms of light quality etc....

LOL! Okay.... that makes WAY more sense. I completely misunderstood. I thought that figure was for the holster only! I thought that was a weird number. I figured maybe the holster was some exotic polymer or perhaps titanium reinforced carbon fibre, hand woven by virgin nuns on a remote Hawaiian island.

$279 with the C5 and holster is a great deal. How much for just the holster (for my P99 or 9mm XDM?)
