Last Day Lucky

Me and my buddy Reb waited till the bitter end.We held out for the big ones till the last day.That did not happen so we took a couple of nice meat bucks this morning.They were both taken within 1/2 hr of each other.Both Deer were taken at approx 125 yards.

bigger ones??? holy crap my sis took a meat deer... a spike... meat deer back east are a little bit smaller. Anybody would shoot these at first light on the first day here without hesitation, we call them trophies here... Nice bucks lol

I have been hunting with Lorne for a lot of years now,This year we had a great season.
We spent 4 days at the cabin looking for some good bucks,We did see some decent bucks,but not where we could take them.
It was a great season.
