The .315 cartridge is an inch designated manlicher 8mm as I recall.

I remember looking at that site a few years ago, and they had new production BREN's, albeit in that strange 8mm caliber.

Interesting that the Indian Government factory would offer the BREN gun when they had adopted the Vickers-Berthier light machine gun.

The 2A1 rifles are great, they take the 7.62 stripper clips and feed without any problems. I have one manufactured in 1968 and the other one is 1969. The 69 model has been completely restocked in new No1 MkIII wood, but I have a set of 2A1 stocks in a box in my shop. I need a Pakistan manufactured No4 MkII for my collection.
