Last major conflict cap&ball revolvers issued

I thought perhaps the Franco Prussian War 1870-1871 would have been the last war that these more primitive sixguns were standard issue.
However I found a reference to War of the Pacific between Chile and opposing Peru-Bolivian alliance 1879-1884, where these firearms were still in use. This could be very hard to peg down with less affluent nations and use regulated into reserve service.
Anyone have anything of historical reference to contribute?
