* means that you can snare the little buggers (hares and Rabbits) all year too.

Seriously. The best way to attract a rabbit into range is to get down as close to the ground as you can.

Make noises like a wounded carrot. Brings 'em in every time.

look for sign (tracks, scat) if theres no sign, theres no rabbits. find a spot with lotsa scrub brush. get out at first light, or last light. Always check under low hanging pine trees too, they hide there.

Well, I did my best to sound like a dying wounded carrot but no luck. I know there is rabbits in this area, I roughed up some thickets and what not, but no luck.

I was close to taking out some crows, but that didn't happen either. Not too disappointed though, moving onto turkey now (only like 6 weeks to go)
