i just caved - now the wait...
Finally got it! Thank God. But it doesn't com witness with my irons. Not vertically but horizontally! Like it has to come left a bunch. Any thoughts!?
That's strange. Do you think it might be the riser or the sights?
Not sitting on a riser. I tried it on my KAC SR-15 with the riser and it was way right so I took it off the riser and set it on a B&T rail on a VZ. Still hella right. Like not even covering any part of the front sight.
Is it zeroed? In the older thread many people reported in with pics of the sight co-witnessing on other firearms
http://www.canadiangunnutz.com/forum/showthread.php/865082-Goodbye-Aimpoint-Micro!-Hensoldt-Military-RSA-Red-Dots-on-sale-for-just-499!!
Unless someone zeroed it on a hockey stick, I doubt it.
Any of these still available?
The website says these are 1 mrad dot size, 10cm at 100 meters.
In layman terms roughly 4 moa?
Just speculating, but perhaps the "eating batteries" issue was the reason for the discontinuation of this type of Hensoldt Wetzlar (Zeiss) sight? Jeffman, you should not be waiting so long for a replacement when TI has stock ...
It seems to be a fine sight, however, the manual is a very poor translation and strangely inconsistent with what might be expected from Zeiss. Nice that Tactical Imports has decided to include a 3/4" riser which is a must have for most, but a heavy metal riser is an injustice for such a nice and light red dot scope.
Can anyone provide their review of this scope and experience at the range including sighting-in?
