Late war J.P Sauer k98k. Last full letter block.

I would have thought a late bcd 44 would have been dual blued phosphate, stamped bands with far fewer serial numbers.
Is the floorplate unnumbered and LU marked?

It’s a bcd4 coded receiver but pulled from the armourer repair parts stock and used in production at Sauer. Most of the parts are left over armorer spare parts. Sauer had essentially considered production ended but had a shortfall in their contract so had to continue to deliver. You can see how late it is because of the Kriegmodel trigger guard. And these Sauers are the only ones to have not cut out all the serial numbers. I am not sure why.
