Just received my new Glock 20th Anniversary Edition that will join my Glock 25th Anniversary Edition as a permanent Safe Queen. It's signed by Gaston himself and comes with two 17rd magazines (pinned to 10rds).

From one Glock fan to another, I'll say thats a nice piece....and I didn't know they made those. Congrats on what's probably a rare find with collector value.

I personally don't get the whole "safe queen" gun collecting thing. But maybe that's just me.

Just like I don't understand the whole collector muscle car market, where they refer to "trailer queens" - muscle cars which get shuttled from car show to car show on a trailer. In my opinion, muscle cars are built to be driven and enjoyed, and guns are built to be shot (and enjoyed). I understand that rare cars and rare guns need to be preserved to maintain/hold their value, I just don't need to own that kind of stuff.

I agree with you that guns are to shot and enjoyed. I do have, what I'll call, working Glocks. I shoot both 9mm and 40S&W Glocks. I DON'T shoot my collector pieces, namely my Glock 20th and 25th Anniversary Editions. I'm now working on getting a Glock Desert Storm commemorative issue which comes in a special glass display case...
