Been thinking about picking one up.
Any dislikes?
How's the wood, fit and finish, reliability?
Parts interchangeable with the originals?
Any MIM/cast parts?

Lol, I realized I may have posted this in the wrong section.
Maybe Milsurp would have been best but in mind, a trench style gun is the original black and green shotgun.
Please move this thread if I posted in the wrong section. Sorry!

Two friends who picked them up in the spring report different results. One arrived with a crooked action bar (likely an issue at Norinco) and the dealer took it back and replaced it. The other friend received his without any problems and it slamfires like a champ.

I just had one delivered yesterday. Straight from the box I found two screws that were so loose, that I could easily turn them with my fingernail !! One screw is the one that holds the mag tube to the receiver the other one is the screw on the bolt that you can see from the ejector port. I seem to recall another thread where somebody else had the exact same issue but, I can't find it

Thanks for the feedback!
Check screws and loctite, got it!
What kind of tweaks could these guns use?
Is the wood really walnut as some dealers claim?

It appears the new ones from marstar are Turkish walnut, but looking at threads on here ..... the other ones are not walnut, but some cheap Chinese wood and some even seem to be MDF.

I'll put my money towards a Beretta 1301, now to figure out on how to mount a bayonet to it!
