Latest news on FN PS90 and FS2000

I'm surprised it's requiring individual forum members to find out if they can be imported. I would have though serious dealers would have delt with this already as its an approved firearm.

They have, see above. They can legally be imported but nobody will sell them to us. FN says talk to R Nichols/MD Charlton as they're the exclusive distributors for Canada. R Nichols says talk to FN as we don't carry this particular product.

FN is in the business of selling. If they are not getting some market share in Canada, I think they could be convinced to change dealers.

MD Charlton told me that end user certificates are required because the product they receive comes from the US. If all P(s) 90 assembly is in the US then both sides are telling the truth - yes, they are made in Belgium, no we can't get them because they come (in finished form) from the US. Prior to assembly they are parts, after assembly they are controlled goods.

Might be interesting to see Murray (Charlton) and Miller in the same space, don't think they'd get along all that well. Believe me if they (MD Charlton) thought they could sell these firearms to us they would, most of the guys there are shooters themselves. MDC is NOTHING like R Nichols.

I wonder if they could strike a similar deal. Get the components to Canada and assemble in house?

Well why not if you can find 80 people to pay the price? I believe TSE did that very same thing with the sniper version of the Black Special.
