Latest Tavor shipment pending; already half spoken for

I asked that question - about the payment plan - back in July.
CanAm said it was still an option for the shipment due late in the year.

Of course he might have changed that offer. If sales are not an issue, he might not have to offer it.

It might be more of a case of - if you contacted him at the store he might offer it if you asked. ??

2 cents. (I do not speak for CanAm or represent his store)

The payment plan had problems with people not paying, banks hate it, and we can sell this shipment without it, the paperwork was a nightmare. Sorry, it may return in the future.

ya you pay 3K for them but if you look at the fact that it is non-restricted and you can actually use it for something other than punching paper it's a good investment. some guys pay 2k for a stock Ar and all you can do is go to the range and shoot paper targets. so ya you pay more but your not restricted so where do you draw the line

Really?? You get much much worse groups with a 6x scope than a 4 moa dot?

It is easier to shoot with the 4 MOA redot in comparison to the 6x scope. Every small movement affect the sight picture of the scope. I would consider reload since now I saw the nice group from b-wingpilot.

and it was windy...and raining

.....and a squirrel was chewing on his leg....ya yada yada

Well, I do not know whether I can achieve a 0.5 MOA on this rifle. I have not been trying to use the Tavor as a sniper rifle. I run Tavor for the service rifle fun.
But I do know I can do 0.5 MOA on my trg at 300 yard for a F class match. I do not believe the Tavor is designed to run as a sniper rifle. Yes, I know there is a sniper version of the Tavor but 223 REM has an effective range (energy wise) of 500-600 yards.
No matter what - it is a fun rifle to shoot. Everyone who has tried it loved it. $3000 is not small change but we all have our reason to love or hate it.
Good luck. Let us know what you have decided.
