Those are a super easy safe lift with an engine lift, remove the top cap on the round column and drop a chain down the hole, remove back plate of the mill base and fish the chain end out of the hole, creat a loop in the chain end and run a long 1/2' ratchet extension or other suitable rod and suck up the chain tension. The mill drill cannot ever over center nor escape the chain.

You guys woulda laughed at how I loaded mine out of my last house. Roaded my skidder into town from the farm, winched it out of the shop, tied it to the blade and lifted it onto the trailer. Worked slick. Neighbours in town gave some weird looks with the old timberjack rolling down the street, Detroit screaming away.
