LAV Glock 17/19 RTF2 courtesy of Lipsey's

So I gave BGC a call, they can get them, just call, they take a $100 deposit over the phone, if they can't get it, you get your money back. Buddy commented that that talk to them everyday. Cheers

Ended up buying a Gen3 TB from SFRC from the 15% free shipping sale. Then ordered all the LAV parts for it. All the extra $$ I saved I used on ammo :)

Been in the market for a FDE Glock.

However, not sure if it's my screen, but the ones shown on Lipsey's site look to be more of a metallic copper than a true FDE.

Any updates? I love the combination of RTF2 frame with the Vickers parts.

Spoke with the rep. Due to recent changes in US export laws around 4 months ago, and he did not know exactly why, LAV and others are not allowed to send anymore stuff, guns, parts etc.directly to our great country. The Canadian source is dry. The only way to bring them in is IRG and that isn't set in stone. It was the rep speculating.
The prices have gone up too! Close to $2000 Can now for a semi custom. They have drop in kits which include the slide, guide rod and trigger asembly but no barrel for less. The stippling job they do is sick! Feels like Velcro and sand paper combined!

Not surprised, rumor around the "Hill" is that LAV is soon to be designated a "national treasure" therefore US DOS doesn't want the wrong people getting there hands on a American icon, especially a bunch of foreigner's like us.
