Law Tactical AR Folding stock adapter

I have numerous firearms with folding stocks. I think I've fired them with the stock folded all of 3 times and that was just for poops and giggles.

A rifle without a stock is useless.

Exactly. Even with the folding stock on my UMP conversion I've only ever fired it ONCE with the stock stowed just to see what it was like. Great for storage and transport which is EXACTLY what this thing is made to do!

Some of you guys are talking out of your rear ends with regards to whether this has real world applications. There are plenty of tasks that require hardware to be stowed out of sight.

Most low vis equipment has limitations, you train around them. If we can train local nationals to deploy a stock on an AK as they exit the vehicle I'm sure the units buying these stocks will be able to figure it out.

With this unit, do you need to push both your take down pins and then remove the upper for cleaning.Because of the bolt extension it won't open otherwise. The way I'm looking at it. Can anyone confirm this?

Update

Just found my answer in the other thread.

The only problem I have with the Law folder is that it relies upon having a bolt carrier to attach to, and renders you unable to quickly separate upper and lower receivers when installed.

The whole concept of this "adapter" is to be able to shorten the OAL of the weapon, for transport or storage, pls leave behind the "dirt in the receiver extension" etc for "real operators" for the average Joe this enables you to transport you AR without breaking it apart.
