Law Tactical Folding Stock Adaptor

Well I"m certainly no "Billy Bob" but I'm guessing that if it affected the classification that Law Tactical would have sold it with a "NFA" rules apply" disclaimer? but hey I'm just some "peckerwood" :p

I've been looking at this product since the introduction of the Gen 2 which has been quite a while now.
My only worry is how the BATFE views this product.
I have a Noveske Afghan which I have registered on my form 6NIA.
It has a 14.5" barrel with a pinned and welded flash hider to bring the barrel length over 16" as per U.S. regs.
When folded the rifle will be about an inch less than 26" which I fear will get it classified as an SBR.

I have searched for hours and cannot find a clear answer.
I will not rely on Billy Bobs' interpretation of BATFE rules to keep me out of a federal prison.
I guess I'll need to write to the BATFE for a written response if I do go that route.

It only makes sense on Modern Hunter or something at thst price point.

Exactly my thoughts which leads me to my next point. Any reason this wouldn't work on a Moder Hunter with a Magpul PRS? I am curious how complete of a fold one would get considering that the MH's charging handle adds bulk on the side this would fold towards.

I'm also curious how tight the lock up is.

IMO it's one of the best "folders" for an AR out there, the "lock up" is solid, along with the overall feel of the adapter.

This will be ideal for my SR15 so i would be able to carry it on my motorcycle, my MK18 is all ready short enough to be carried... Cool. JP.

I'm almost positive this is not going to work with MH, adaptor's hinge will block charging handle's extension/cover coming all the way back...

Apparently people forget that there are some users who use their AR's day in and day out for work and products like these make their life even better.

It was never designed with hunters in mind.

The bonus though is we didn't put "Government Sales Only" on it. ;)

You should have put the for gov sales only. Then all the comments would be about #####ing not being able to buy it.

Exactly what I was thinking...those who ACTUALLY need it (LEO, Military, etc) cab afford that price point. For the rest of us wannabes, some will have the deep pockets and want it, others won't; all a personal choice where we spend our dollars

I want one of these REALLY badly for a Modern Hunter and in the future for a Modern Varminter from ATRS. Problem is I believe the folding mechanism will interfere with the side charging handle.

Can you provide some dimensions on the hinge and how far it sticks out from the buffer tube?

i am starting to like this product even at that price point, The ccs stock and troy pdw stock come in at around that price range. so i have to add the buffer tube and stock.

Here is the hinge profile from the back if anyone is wondering on fitment. We will have one on an SR-15 soon.
