I bought a stripped lower and guy said he throw in a LPK in for a extra cost, 40$. I said sure why not. I get the lower and see the package backing for LBE unlimited. Umm whats this company? Chinese?

Never really found much about it ( Other then small American based company in GA ). Notice the hammer was grinded on a angle after casting where it rides. so I cannot expect quality. The roll pin for the bolt stop slid right in. LBE or NEA issue? Who knows. I install it and found the trigger really not that bad. Better then a Norc.

Then I noticed another sponsor had one of their parts in a package. But who is this company?

NEA had a common problem with the hole for the bolt stop being oversize on many of their lowers. To the point that stripped lowers were being shipped with the bolt stop installed (they would flare the ends of the pin to try and 'fix' the issue).

Don't know if that is the case in this circumstance though

Why would you even consider a unknown brand for such an important part on your rifle? Stick with the major brands IMO.

I wanted a cheap stripped lower just in case ( like 80$ shipped to my door cheap ) Guy offered a LPK for 40$ and I said sure why not. Probably will never use it.

Thats what I figured ( I had to stake the pin on both sides ) But I wanted to really know who LBE was.

In the description on their site it states "MADE IN USA" so unless they are lying about that its not Chinese

I dont know about your specific brand, but in my limited experience besides the trigger parts, most of the LPK I have seen are all very similar in quality. I mean a steel roll pin is a steel roll pin, the trigger is another thing but for simple parts like springs and pins, I dont see much of a difference.

I have bought colt lower parts, and I have a CMMG kit, and for the most part they seem the same in terms of quality, not taking trigger function or smoothness into play just simple parts you need like pins and springs

I mean the trigger look good, the disco looked nice. Pins are pins, springs are springs, detents are detents. Out of all the parts the hammer looked the most wonky.

Triggers are a funny thing, when I bought my first aftermarket trigger it was a Geissele SSA-E, and with no prior experience with triggers right out of the box (plastic bag actually) I was like whats the big deal. It looks almost identical to the stock Daniel Defense trigger it replaced. It was not fancy looking at all like some of the other triggers on the market that come in a fancy billet housing etc. Yet simple specific angles and good surface grinding makes all of the difference

Yet at a first glance I was like why is this $300+ LOL only after shooting it was I like, OK thats why

That hammer looks pretty chez. Install it and see how it feels. Also function test it to make sure it works safely. If it works okay........you'll never see that part of the hamer anyways.

Still looks pretty chez though......

Agreed first thing I really noticed. I still don't got a grip. If my local guns shops sold MOE or regular A2s I have one already. But ive been fanning it, using 1 hand to hold the hammer from slamming into the receiver and pulling the trigger and feels decent. Better then a norc.
