LC Smith Restoration (Pics)

Nick Makinson send me some pictures of an LC Smith he is currently restoring. The breech face was badly pitted, the striker disks and the firing pins were damaged.

Nick restored the breech face, machined new disks and firing pins.

Very, very impressive. Love seeing pictures like that.

His control around both holes is impressive - no flow into the recess or melting etc.

Nick is a pretty good "parts replacer" too. He has done work for me in the past. Yes he is a true English gentlemen with a very dry strictly British sense of humor.
