Good day folks I would like to no what the value of a No4, (it maybe No7) transit chest is. I know, I know everyone wants to see pics. The box is in good+ condition with all the pieces complete. Ball park price would be fine.
thank you.

A No 15 transit chest is worth a whole lot more than a Cno7 chest. The pics will tell the tale.

Ok thanks, Cantom The pics will have to wait until I get back home. I assume that the chest is a for a No4 since that is what came in it. The outside has been painted John Deere green. I know that this detracts from the value. Is there a way of carefully removing this paint?

Yes, people have stripped the paint off.

But there was no No 4 chest. It's either a Cno7 .22 trainer chest or a No 15 sniper chest. Different sizes, way different values.

Just post the height of the chest. C No7 chest is not as tall as a No4Mk1T chest.
But saying that, the No7 chest is also a rarity south of the border!
Have two, one for the Canadian and one for the Brit rifle, and I havent' seen any more on offer in the last few years.

Now the REAL rarity, a transit chest for the Trials T. when they built the rifles, someone forgot they also needed transit chests, so the early ones were modified Bren chests
