LE #4 sling

Hey there,

I've been keeping my eye on the EE for about 6 months now waiting for a LE #4 sling to show up, but I haven't really seen anything. Are these becoming harder to find? Any leads on where else I should look? I'd prefer a canadian marked war time sling. But anything will do!

Exercise your Google-Fu with searches like "LEE ENFIELD" and sling, or 303 and sling, "No4" and sling, etc. There are lots available from the businesses that sponsor CGN, and chances are really good so one has them for sale.

Check ebay. Lots of slings on there, new reproduction and original. Might be one on there.

I have seen them at gun shows as well. Keep on looking and you will find one.

I have a number of them and some are WW2 Canadian marked. The rifles are all gone but the accessories are still here.

Hello!
Just a question: what did they use on these slings for maintenance? Green kapo for canvas?
Also, I have two blue ones (RAF) and I would like to refresh them just enough. Is that possible?
