I require a front sight pusher for my #5 MK1 I don't think there are any in existance let alone readily available. I am thinking of making one, as my #5 MK 1 needs to get zeroed some way. The other possibility is to beg borrow steal/ move heaven and earth to get one of the Parker Hale windage and elevation adjustable rear sights that is a drop in fit for the issue one (not really bloody likely to find one though). Any Ideas? I don't think a hammer and drift is going to be up to it - I could see that being a real pain in the ass, but who knows?

Doesn't the front sight on a No5 adjust the same way as a No4, loosen the retainer screw and nudge the sight over (or put a taller/shorter one in) ?

The screw head is backward, instead of a groove there's a ridge. It takes the correct tool, but I've seen a few around.

There is no screw on a No.5. The offending screw is only found on the No.4. The sight is in a tight dovetail. Purple is right. Brass drift punch works just fine. Tap, tap, tap and you're done.
