hi folks:
someone i know has a "le fauchaux" black powder revolver.i believe the spelling "faucheaux" is wrong.that was on the old green reg. cert.
it's a 7mm. caliber and a 6 shot with 86 mm. barrel.was it built in belgium(sp?)
is this gun still needed to be registered?it maybe earlier than 1810,as per the proof stamps.the gun is in poor shape and missing at least the rod to tamp down the round (i think that's what it's for).
what would something in this condition be worth?
