Lead BB/BBB shot

I had to order it in last spring when I was looking for it for my coyote loads. Looked everywhere in canada found 00 and 000 but that was it.. Ended up getting it from Ballastic products through W.Bilozir in alberta. Took about 3 months since he was not stocking bb or BBB and came I think in a 8 pound bottle since it is classed as buck shot in the US for like $60 plus tax and shipping per 8 pounds. Give him a try. take care:)
 
There use to be a place in Ancaster ONT that makes or made lead shot of all sizes. it is called Hummason

I emailed them a while back and the largest they make is #2.

3macs1 - $60 for 8lbs is quite steep; I could/would probably load buckshot at that price. Since BB/BBB is still birdshot, I figured I could get a 25lb bag for the same price as 7-1/2s...

They need an extra high drop tower to make the larger shot so not all manufacturers can make it. Making it much more expensive.

Agree but today BB and BBB lead in canada and most of the US is classed as buckshot not birdshot any more even though it shows up on old birdshot tables. There was never a BBB lead easily available here even before steel came out and most stopped making BB lead once steel became law. Really all we can use BB or BBB lead for today is coyotes or turkey loads that I know of at least in my province and we have no turkeys.
You are not going to find anyone with a bag of BBB lead in canada in 25 pounds unless they picked it up in the US years back but may find a bag of BB. I ran an add on the EE when I was looking for it and no replys.
The 00 and 000 is made by hornady and comes in a 5 pound box for just under 30.00 but the only stock in canada was those two sizes. There are three places I found could get that for me one being Epps I had to order no. 4 buck from the US also. There was one member that had a 25 pound bag of no.4 buckshot I may still have his Pm if that is of any interest but the shipping was quite high.Good luck with your search
 
Just make your own. The mold is about 70 bucks and works great. If you are not set up to pour your own then if you have a hot plate or BBQ, an old cast iron pot of some sort and a ladle is about all you will need extra to make as much as you want (and proper PPE of course). Hardest thing to find is the lead now a days but once you have some you can make as much as you want.
