Lead bullets in a 9mm M&P?

Is it okay to use lead in a S&W M&P 9mm? I know Glocks have issues with them, but I don't know about the M&P. Any info would be great. Thanks in advance.

Sure you can. Just give the barrel a good cleaning after a couple hundred rounds.

Yup, use lead in mine all the time, clean after use.

I put over 2500 rounds of lead bullets through my first M&P without cleaning it. I wanted to see what it took to stop it. At just over 2500 the extractor was so dirty it wouldn't extract anymore.

I cleaned the extractor with a toothbrush, oiled the gun and ran it for several hundred more rounds before giving it a thorough cleaning.

In other words lead bullets and M&P's are good to go
