I am thinking of loading cartrdges for my recently acquired 686 in .38 and .357 cases using 158 gr. AIM plated SWC projectiles and Titegroup powder. The data available on the Hodgeson site gives data for lead and jacketed projectiles, but not plated. I have heard it suggested to use lead data, and add "a bit" for plated. How much of "a bit" would be appropriate. Or would lead data be OK?

I would start near the top of the lead data and maybe even move into the bottom of the jacketed data depending on how they shoot and how far apart the load levels are for same powders.
