Aside from being the dirtiest lab I have ever seen face mask is a must acid proof is a must. Your eys may survive a splash with those glasses, anyone in the know wheres a shield when working with corrosives, in the work place it is the law.
I have to address your earlier comment about Aprons being made of lead and are to heavy to wear. This points directly to your knowledge and Skill of the trade.
1. Aprons for working with acid are made of Vinyl or Rubber, not Lead Einstein, I will likely be the first to tell you that your the butt end of some ones Joke, Lead aprons are for Radiation, NOT Corrosives.
I am guessing your Scalp hair nose cheeks ears neck are all acid proof?
You can do whatever you want but ignorance is no excuse for putting this material up in the first place.
I don't even see evidence of eyewash devices, or showers, Or even paper towels in the ####in paper towel dispenser, no signage on the wall. I love the hand soap that's a must for washing hands.
Your workspace is a travesty of lab etiquette, I am sure anyone who works in a LAB passed out when they saw what you were doing and where and with such lack of safety gear.
If I ever tour your facility I will know who you are, The guy with the eyes and all the scar tissue.
So next safety meeting your company has bring these pictures in.
By the way, there is evidence that sulfuric acid Vapors are carcinogenic to humans, that's why normal smart people where resperators, not you though you say its perfectly fine, Alrighty Then!!
Keep on Rocking in your own little world Buddy.
