Lead free/NON Toxic Primers??

Dose anyone sell "Lead free/NON toxic" primers as a reloading componant??

Try P&D they MAY have them. I know someone had them at the Kamloops Gun Show in April but I can't recall if it was them or not.

Winchester Primers are now lead free.

Gas Can,

Winchester changed the formula in its primers from lead to tin a few years ago.
The new lead free primers are copper coloured now.

Also be aware that they are more finicky than regular primers. They are humidity sensitive and not really suitable for a humid environment such as the coast or rainy areas unless you have a dry room for storage and loading. You will find a great number of FTF's as a result if not stored/loaded in very dry conditions.

as far as I know there are none available for regular reloaders, only for commercial reloaders. all the ones I've seen say "not for sale".
