Lead Free is a heckuva marketing tool to use especially when approaching large volume consumers such as law enforcement agencies. The prospect of 'lead free' helps them in their quest for going green, but they have no idea that the real difference is minimal at best. Gives the budget controlling enviro conscious powers a sense that they are making huge progress in saving the environment.. Altho the thought that lead free is also much safer for the shooter/instructors, actual research results beg to differ.

Reminds me of the comment, "... there is nobody more persistent than a Liberal with a bad idea." I thought the Conservatives were reining in the powers of the Provincial CFO's. I suspect the requirement for the lead free ammo might relate to the ranges desire to sell lead free ammo. Could that be the case??
