Might be a stupid question ...
After much choke research and having a pretty solid grip on the whole thing a possibly silly question came to mind.
Obviously it would be safe to shoot lead in the hardened steel chokes made for steel shot .... question is, does it affect the lead pattern any differently vs being shot through the typical 17-4 stainless chokes ?
Reason for the question is, if purchasing an entire flush set, why not get the few sizes for steel shot in place of the lead tubes to allow for more versatility ?
