lead/steel shot and pregnancey

Steel shot is a good idea, mind you I'm not aware of any cases of deformities or other health issues/birth defects ever happening that can be clearly traced to eating wild game that has been shot with lead projectiles.

What I've taken away from all these discussions about lead and pregnancy is that WHEN my wife is pregnant I WILL SWITCH TO STEEL AND COPPER SHOT AND BULLETS.

Otherwise I'm happy with Leads stopping power and ballistic Coefficent.

What makes you think that any other food you eat is lead free? Lead is present in measurable quantities in drinking water, garlic from China, and in the plastic window blinds you put in the babies nursery, among many other things. If you want a completely "lead free" environment it does not exist.

How about avoid the obvious dangers when you can...for example none of the products you listed above are in our house.

And to completely change your normal life to ensure the elimination of even a miniscule amount of lead exposure is paranoia, not prudence. You may as well get out the bubble wrap, you're gonna need lots of it.....

Buddy your taking your argument to the extreme and flying all by yourself into the stratosphere...

Once again the point is for a pregnant woman to avoid the obvious risks as best as she can. This is not paranoia, its just good common sense.
