just fired my first 50 reloads. cast 202 gr paper jacket bullet. 303 LE. 4 different powder charges.
when i cleaned the barrel, i found two slivers of lead that i could see and pick up. very tiny and thin. i think they could be from chambering the rounds from the mag, as they all did not leave the mag smoothly, most did. other than that, i found that IMR4895 is dirty. and no evidence of other pieces of lead. i`ll be posting the powder charges etc in a different post.
the paper jackets came off upon exiting the barrel, sometimes whole, but smaller and smaller confetti as the charges went up
is there anything else in regards to leading i should look for?
