After about 50 rounds thru the Webley in 442 the forcing cone is thoroughly leaded. There is no lead past the forcing cones. The frame above the breech is also very leaded. How can I clean lead from the forcing cone? Steel wool?

Are the bullets way over Bore Dia or something?
as far as cleaning have you seen the little brass Screen funnels that attach to the cleaning rods end ?
You stick the cleaning rod in from the muzzel attach the special little funnels pointed end forward.
Then pull the rod till the cone is up against the lead in the forceing cone and then spin the rod back and forth.
Lead can be scraped out with a brass type pic as well.
Brass wont hurt the steel but will remove the lead.
