Now i realize anytime you do something really stupid the rule of thumb is to keep it to yourself.
But if you can save one other soul from enduring your suffering wouldn't you save them .
Well i decided i would do just that .
Now I'm no gunsmith or gun expert in fact I've only had my pal a year.
But i enjoy cleaning my firearms and i do it a lot .
I went to the EOHC Winter Shoot which was awesome but i digress.
So i was cleaning my SKS last night as i have probably 100 times.
So first relay goes great did far better than i thought at 100 yards as I've never had the chance to shoot over 50.
Second round at 200 yards after 3 rounds all i hear is click ,,,,,WHAT... that never happens with my SKS.
So i figure ok first bad round ever ftf not the end of the world wait clear charge another round click...WHAT..
Now this is just insane i remove the rear cover and boingggggg the recoil spring comes out all bent and mangled

i put it in backwards.....
So the moral of my tale of woe is yes you need to own more than one sks so your day at the range isn't cut short .
Oh and i suppose pay attention to what the hell your doing.
P.S anyone know where i can get a new recoil spring assembly
cheers
