I have been very fortunate to be able to train and shoot with some top level shooters. One of the things that has helped me grow the fastest is to take video of myself and other shooters and then compare them to learn where I need to improve. As Ben Stoeger would say "I am learning to suck less"!
Here are a couple of videos from the recent IPSC match in Selkirk.
You can plainly see where I gain and lose time and with that, the skills I need to work on. On the stage 9, I had a very good lead which went down the tube when my red dot battery died (which was my own fault). That resulted in that pause in the last port. I shot blind and still hit the targets. Lesson learned there too!
