Having had incredible success running my M1000 on my M1A platform, .270, 30-06 and 300 Win Mag, I'm looking to up the ante and give it a go on the .338 Lapua.
I've adjusted the optics platform as per the non-listed caliber cam setting instruction in the manual, but was wondering if anyone has run the optic on a .338 Lapua platform and would recommend a specific cam setting.
I know this is sort of like asking for a secret wild game sausage recipe haha, but would appreciate any input.
I've had success running my .375 Ruger based off the 375 H&H setting, but I do understand the .338 Lapua can be a whole different ball game in comparison to the manual listed caliber settings.
Not looking to spark a debate on the systems merits; it's brought me nothing but success.
Really appreciate your time on this one everyone, just can't seem to find any info on testing with the Lapua online. I have emailed Leatherwood and hoping they have a recommendation.
