so ive been working on restoring 2 LEC rifles for a few years now, i finally have one done. the wood is a spliced fore end that the maker wasn't so happy with so i got an extremely good deal on it, free, but for me its wonderful for getting my first LEC together after having the parts sitting for years. personally i think it fits and looks fine but i dont have any originals to compare it to
i have another LEC project now just waiting on a handguard so im able to get it finished up as seen in the pics
and then ive also started collecting the hardest to find parts for a 3rd LEC, right now i just have the nose cap, barrel band and mag.
there are also some pics of the other LE rifles i have in that same safe as the LEC'S, the rest are down stairs and that room need to be cleaned first before i can get to the safe.
the rifles in the pics are as followed
1896 Enfield LEC 1
1896 Enfield LE 1 UDF marked (pre SADF)
Commercial BSA CLLE UDF marked
1918 BSA No1MkIII* .22 Trainer
1943 No4Mk1 ROF Maltby
