Lee 1000 pro 45 ACP small primer question

Just started loading winchester 45 auto brass with large pistol primers on this press, no problems works great. I have some speer 45 auto brass with small pistol primers coming my way. Is there anything I need to change on my current setup to accomadate the small primered cases? thanks

You will have to switch the primer feed to accomodate the "small" primer trough.

If it were me I'd forget the .45 brass with small primers & stay with the large primered brass.

you need to change your primer pin as well for the small version, otherwise your pin will hang up on the sides of your trough- it'll seat the first one fine, but then it won't retract-once you're set up for small primers, you can do all that 38/357/9mm, 40 cal stuff as well- just change your plates and dies
