Is anyone here using the Lee 220 Volt 20 LB bottom pour pot? My 35 year old Lee Production pot is about ready to give up the ghost. Using a double cavity mould, the pot can no longer keep up. Adding a 1LB ingot to the melt stops the casting operation while the pot catches up. I'm thinking the 220V should recover much faster. Your thoughts, please? I use both a Plumber's Pot, (LP fired) or a Coleman camp stove to clean lead & WW and cast ingots.

I started with a coleman stove then went to a LEE 10lb'er. When I started with 6 cavity mold's the 10lb'er wasn't keeping up so I went with a 20lb'er.
Guess what? It couldn't keep up either.
I started to do was get the 20lb'er up and pouring and when I got down to 3/4 of a pot plug in the 10lb'er and filled it up. When the lead was melted I poured the molten lead into the 20lb'er and never missed a beat.
And my production went up ta boot!

Save yourself a lot of trouble and guessing and just pay the money for the big Lyman or RCBS pot. I have both and I almost never use the Lee now.
