Hey guys,

I'm looking at making up some cast bullets for my 375 Taylor, using a Lee 250gr mold. It says it mikes out at .379. I'm assuming these bullets are for a 38-55. Will they work for a 375, or will they be too big at .379?

They will prolly be too big and will expand the case neck enough on reloading that the case prolly will not chamber. The .375 usually uses a .376" cast bullet, and with the extra velocity possible you would be best to go with a gas check bullet unless you stick to low velocity(say 1400 fps). The .379" bullet can be sized down to .376" with a proper bullet sizing die and lubed in one step on a lubesizer, I'm not sure what lee offers in their sizing die that does not lube. There are molds made for the .375s and other molds made for the .38/55.
