Hello fellow casters! A while back I bought a LEE two cavity .44 mold, # 90285. It's a 200 grain round nose flat point bullet. Two cavity as opposed to the six as a trial. Since you use cast bullets only once, it seemed perfectly logical that I would rather adjust my sights and fire a 200 grain bullet rather than the heavier 240's or 255's.
I lubed and sized them to .430, then re-lubed them using Rooster Jacket lube. Driving this bullet faster than 900 FPS means serious leading, so I have decided to powder coat them instead. The new castings will be powder coated but the previous stock has the afefore mentioned process.
Can I wash off the old lube and powder coat?
