This LEE mold casts a 105 grain semi-wad cutter, but its not a true SWC, in that its more like a wad cutter with a cylindrical tent on top of the flat plain. The tent does not extend to the edge of the rim.

Anyway, my late pal Eddy Binstead loved this mold. Loaded it into .38special cases and later reloaded it in his 9mm S&W 52 target auto of which I cannot remember the exact model, but he waited 18 months for it to arrive. (Okay, its a 952)

I bought the 6 cavity mold. Supposedly the bullets come out of the mold @ .358. I powder coated them with the excellent Emerald Coatings "tool blue" powder coat powder, and ran them through my LEE .358 die.

So I decided to try them in 9mm. Put them through my .357 sizer over 3.6 grains of PROMO (Red Dot) powder in a 9mm case.

Next up is them fired in my CZ SP01......
