Lee Auto Drum Powder Measure

Love mine. Decently accurate even with extruded powders. You can set individual drums, and switch between them quickly, so you don't waste a bunch of time resetting for different charges. The drums are very easy to set initially. It's a great system at great price.

I got the auto-disk with my classic turret and used that for a year or so. Last year I switched to the auto-drum and couldn't be happier. Unlike that damned disk where you had to go up by .3gr each time, the drum allows for very, very small adjustments with the turn of the key. I actually upgraded to a Dillon 550c recently and use my Lee dies with it and the auto-drum continues to work like a charm.

I use W231 powder with it if that makes any difference to you

I use it. Works very well with ball powder such as H110 and titegroup. Haven't tried it with stick powder yet.

I use it on both my progressive and my single stage. If you're charging for rifles, you'll need the rifle charging dies kit. About 33$ at cabela or western metal. For pistol rounds the charging dies are included with each calibre.

I have one and use it on a Lee Classic Turret. It works very well. It's very consistent.

Setting up the drums is very easy. I can get a drum dialed in a lot faster than I can get my Lee Perfect Powder Measure set up.

The only hiccup I have with mine is with the "Down-Stroke Verification Device". Sometimes it does not trip.

When that happens, it's always due to me not having the thing set up properly: I typically do not have the charging die screwed down far enough.

The damn thing would never reset properly on my progressive, so I removed that feature. I mostly reload 44mag with H110, so there's no possibility of double charge, but there is a possibility of squib load.

Just finished loading 200 223s using H4895. This was my first time using it and after dialing it in I checked every 5 rounds with a Pact electronic scale and they were never more than .2gr off most were right on with a few at .1 gr off. I put the ones that were .2 over back throught the cycle and after about 50 rounds never found another more than .1gr off. Great measure at a great price.

Thanks for the the encouragement. I will be purchasing one of these measures for sure.
I use the Pro-Auto disk on my single stage press & have always liked it, but I saw the auto-drum being used on a Dillon 550 press & thought about trying it there.
One can never have too many powder measures or reloading stuff!

Thanks folks for your replies....
